The event was promoted moths in advanced.
Advertising was done through print and digital efforts.
Sponsorship packet
Sponsors could pledge an amount to donate to Racing for Cancer through available packages.
A sponsorship packet was created and distributed out for donors to select the package of their choosing.
100 years in the making
The inspiration for the designs was the 1920's. This was to commemorate the 100th running of the Indy 500.
Photos were aged digitally by gray scaling and adding a warm sepia tone overlay. They were also given a matte treatment and a blended texture for a deeper aging effect.
Art Deco
The architectural art form that originated from the 1920's was incorporated into the designs by creating a Racing For Cancer (R4C) emblem.
The style would not be complete without a brushed gold texture, created with a transparency mask.
Typography
Caviar Dreams was chosen for it's Art Deco style structure to pair with the overall design.
It's clean sans serif design is easily legible compared to other traditional Art Deco fonts.
